AnaKleo Studio

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information AnaKleo Studio collects through anakleo.com, our client portal, AI Concierge, Journal, Shop and related services, and how that information is used and protected.

Effective date: August 12, 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect information in several ways, depending on how you use AnaKleo.

Information you provide

  • Name, email address, phone number and project location when you contact us or submit a project inquiry.
  • Project details, room information, dimensions, comments, preferences and other information you choose to provide.
  • Shipping information when you request samples.
  • Account information and project communications when you use the client portal.
  • Photos, images and files you upload for a project, design review or AI-assisted room analysis.
  • Messages you send to the AnaKleo AI Concierge.

Information collected automatically

Our own website analytics may record:

  • Pages viewed and the time of the visit.
  • Journal articles and Shop pages viewed.
  • Interactions such as Start Project, Sample Request and Contact actions.
  • The referring website or traffic source, such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn or direct traffic.
  • Browser language, device or screen category and basic technical information.
  • Country, when a country code is supplied by our hosting or network infrastructure.

AnaKleo's custom analytics is designed to use country-level information rather than precise geolocation. We do not intentionally store a street-level location, GPS coordinate or precise location for website analytics.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve AnaKleo, including to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate about projects.
  • Prepare design concepts, estimates, samples and project work.
  • Operate the client portal and project workflow.
  • Provide AI Concierge and image-assisted project intake features.
  • Understand which pages, Journal articles and products are useful to visitors.
  • Measure Shop, Journal and project-request activity.
  • Protect the website, accounts and services from abuse or technical problems.
  • Maintain business, administrative and legal records.

We do not use AnaKleo's website analytics to build advertising profiles across unrelated websites.

3. Website analytics

AnaKleo operates its own website analytics system. Analytics information is stored within AnaKleo's website infrastructure and Studio Console rather than requiring us to use Google Analytics to review ordinary website traffic.

Analytics may use a first-party browser identifier so that the system can distinguish visits and sessions. The current visitor identifier may remain in your browser for up to approximately 12 months unless you clear browser data. Session information may also be stored temporarily using browser session storage.

Our custom analytics does not intentionally save your IP address as an analytics field. However, hosting, network, security or infrastructure providers may process IP addresses in ordinary server logs or as necessary to deliver and secure the website.

4. AI Concierge and AI-assisted features

AnaKleo uses AI-assisted tools to answer project questions, help with project intake and, when you choose to upload an image, provide a preliminary visual response.

Information you submit to an AI-assisted feature, including text and an uploaded room photo, may be transmitted to OpenAI through its API in order to generate a response. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default unless the customer explicitly opts in.

AI responses are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. AnaKleo does not use the public AI Concierge to disclose private internal research or confidential client information.

5. Client accounts, projects and files

Client portal information may include your contact details, rooms, files, approvals, project stages, financial milestones and project communications. This information is used to manage your project and provide the services you request.

Uploaded files and project information should not include information that is unnecessary for the design project.

6. Cookies and browser storage

AnaKleo may use first-party cookies, local storage and session storage for functions such as recognizing a browser session, maintaining the AI Concierge session, remembering interface state and measuring website activity.

You can clear or block browser storage through your browser settings. Some parts of the website may work differently if browser storage is disabled.

7. Service providers

We use service providers to operate the website and business. These may include hosting, email, infrastructure, security and AI-processing providers. Those providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to AnaKleo and according to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.

AnaKleo currently uses OpenAI API services for certain AI features. We may change service providers as our systems evolve.

8. Sale and advertising use of personal information

AnaKleo does not sell personal information. We do not use personal information collected through our custom analytics for cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including project administration, client service, business records, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations.

Some custom analytics, project and communication records may remain in AnaKleo's database until they are removed as part of maintenance, account administration or an appropriate deletion request. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is needed.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights regarding personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion or information about how your data is used.

You may contact AnaKleo at art@anakleo.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.

California and other jurisdictions may provide additional rights to qualifying residents and may impose additional obligations on businesses that meet applicable legal thresholds. This policy does not assume that every privacy statute applies to every AnaKleo activity.

11. Children

AnaKleo's services are intended for adults arranging design, art or architectural projects. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through the website.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the information we maintain. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as AnaKleo's services, technology or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes materially.
